It's been a while since I've done a round-up on some of the latest movie poster designs (you'll notice that I've removed "weekly" from the title of this post), but the truth is, it's not entirely my fault. The selections have been pretty far and few between as of late. However, thanks to few movies that have put out collections of multiple posters, we've got more than enough cool stuff to look at here.

First off, although I'm a little late getting these up, I have to draw your attention to the additional posters that were released for Ti West's The House of the Devil, all just as gloriously retro as the first one was. Also out this week, four new character posters for Kick-Ass, some rather minimal posters for The Wolfman and Green Zone, and a cheesy one-sheet for Sherlock Holmes. Last but not least, we can't forget Jay's favourite: four posters showcasing the wacky rules of Zombieland! Which ones do you like the best? Check out the rest of the gallery after the jump.

Up until now, the only leaked photos [1] we had seen from the set of The A-Team movie featured their trusty GMC van driving around a dirt road -- an important piece of the puzzle, to be sure, but not exactly the most exciting photo subject. Now this week we've got our first look at all four of the primary cast members assembled and in character. I love it when a plan comes together!

From left to right we have: Quinton "Rampage" Jackson as B.A. Baracus, Liam Neeson as Hannibal, Sharlto Copley as Murdock, and Bradley Cooper as Face. I know it's not much to go on, but what are your initial impressions? Do these guys fit the images of the new A-Team that you had in your head? After the jump also check out the first picture of Jessica Biel from the film courtesy of Splash News [2]. The A-Team hits theatres on June 11th, 2010.

The good folks over at Empire [1] managed to score some new stills last week from the upcoming remake of Clash of the Titans, which is being directed by Louis Leterrier (The Incredible Hulk, Transporter 2). As you can see in the pictures, they're really going all out with the costume design courtesy of Lindy Hemming (Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, The Dark Knight, Casino Royale).

Most of the pics feature Sam Worthington as Perseus, but we've also got our first look at Liam Neeson as Zeus thanks to an on-set snapshot from Entertainment Weekly [2]. Now that's what I call armor! What do you say, is this shaping up to be the epic blockbuster that you were expecting? Clash of the Titans hits theatres on March 26th, 2010.

If I had to guess, I'd say there's a very good chance that Shawn Levy's upcoming comedy Date Night will be a big hit. Not only does it bring together the stars of two of the biggest sitcoms on TV right now (The Office and 30 Rock), but it also has a supporting cast that includes James Franco, Mila Kunis, Mark Wahlberg, Kristen Wiig, Mark Ruffalo, Ray Liotta and yes, even G4's Olivia Munn. Not to mention the fact that Shawn Levy has directed two of the highest grossing comedies of the past 3 years with Night At The Museum and its sequel. But will it actually be good?

The script for Date Night, which was originally written by Brian Koppelman and David Levien (Ocean's Thirteen, Knockaround Guys, Rounders), got an honourable mention from the 2008 Hollywood BBC Elite List as one of the best screenplays of the year. However, since then it's been re-written by Simon Kinberg (Mr. & Mrs. Smith, The Hardy Men), Aline Brosh McKenna (The Devil Wears Prada) and Josh Klausner (Shrek the Third). All I know is that it involves a married couple out for a night on the town that goes horribly awry. Judging from the first picture released online this week by USA Today [1], things get more than a little out of hand. Are you looking forward to a team up between Steve Carell and Tina Fey? Is Date Night one of the big comedies to look forward to in 2009?

Yep, it's that time again... time to take a look at some newly-released movie posters and bask in their graphic design-y goodness! The past week or so has been kind of lacking in terms of new posters, but I finally managed to pull together a nice batch of one sheets that are visually interesting and/or atrociously awful.

Among this week's picks, we've got a gorgeous one sheet for The Men Who Stare at Goats, a pretty bland Toy Story 3 teaser poster, and some epic artwork for John Woo's Red Cliff. There's also a completely uninteresting poster for Joe Dante's The Hole, a nice one for The Messenger (Oscilloscope always does great design work), and then there's The Rock's latest disaster waiting to happen, Tooth Fairy. The tooth hurts alright. Would you hang any of these on your wall? Check out the full gallery after the jump.

Yep, it's that time again... time to take a look at some newly-released movie posters and bask in their graphic design-y goodness! We don't tend to post leaked set pics around here very often, but in this case, not only is it a movie that I'm pretty excited about, the photos themselves are surprisingly high quality. In fact, they could probably even pass as official stills. The movie we're talking about here is the latest comedy from Adam McKay and Will Ferrell, previously titled B-Team [1], and now called The Other Guys. Personally I think B-Team is a way better title, but perhaps there were legal issues with the upcoming A-Team movie?

In these photos, which originate from Accidental Sexiness [2], we get our first glimpse of Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg as cops. Apparently they play the bumbling second-stringers of the department, as opposed to Samuel L. Jackson and Dwayne Johnson, who, according to Variety [3], will play the "elite and cocky cop tandem" that everyone else looks up to. Steve Coogan will play the villain. Sound good to you? I'm convinced that this is going to be amazing. The Other Guys hits theatres on Aug. 6, 2010; check out a few more pics after the jump.

Movie posters... we love to find 'em, and you love to look at 'em. Some of the latest posters submitted for your approval this week include the first one for Wes Anderson's Fantastic Mr. Fox, two posters for John Hillcoat's The Road, and another one for Werner Herzog's Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans. That's not all though, we've also got a look at the very first promotional one sheet for Rambo V (now apparently subtitled "The Savage Hunt"), plus an airbrushed Ricky Gervais in The Invention of Lying, and also the first poster for the Michael Jackson concert film This Is It.

Which of these posters (if any) would you hang on your wall? Which ones are graphic design disasters? Check out the full gallery after the jump.

It's time to take another quick spin around the web to marvel at the latest and greatest posters that have been recently released for upcoming films. This week the majority of the selections are from October horror movies and/or films that will be debuting at the Toronto Film Festival, starting with a very cool yellow poster for Michael Moore's latest documentary Capitalism: A Love Story. Also check out the new poster for Jason Reitman's Up in the Air starring George Clooney, and an awesome one sheet for Ti West's The House of the Devil that looks better than the movie itself.

We've also got some amazing unused poster art for Inglourious Basterds, and another one of those damn motion posters for Pandorum. Not to worry though... I just embedded a still version, and you can click through to experience the animated one. Which ones are your favourites? Check out the rest of the posters after the jump.

Time to take a look at some of the new posters that were released over the past week or so. A handful of these movies are ones I'm really looking forward to (others, not so much). I'm hoping that the first official poster from Jared Hess's Gentlemen Broncos means that a trailer isn't far off since I'm expecting big things from Jemaine of Flight of the Conchords fame. Some other upcoming comedies with new posters include Mike Judge's Extract, Trailer Park Boys 2 and All About Steve (arguably, not actually a comedy, judging by that poster).

The new one sheet for The Coen Brothers' A Serious Man is a little bit bland, but the one for Joe Dante's 3-D film The Hole has me intrigued. We also have our first look at Law Abiding Citizen, the upcoming thriller starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler. Which ones are your favourites?

Check out the rest after the jump.

It still remains to be seen exactly how Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds will compare to his Grindhouse experiment with Robert Rodriguez, but the two projects now have at least one thing in common: they both have fake trailers. Nation's Pride is a faux Nazi propaganda film, a movie-within-a-movie that was directed by Eli Roth. As a form of viral marketing for Inglourious Basterds, he has also cut together a fake trailer [1] for this fictional film.

Roth had this to say about it: "I'm going to, like, resurrect the Nazi party. They will be like, 'We love his movie. But he's a Jew! But it's such a good movie. But a Jew made it!' It's going to really throw off all the neo-Nazi's. I can't wait." Nation's Pride premieres on August 21st at Le Gamarr Theatre. Check out the trailer after the jump!

It's time for your weekly look at the latest movie posters that have been released around the web, starting with what is apparently the first official one-sheet from James Cameron's Avatar... consider me underwhelmed. Also worth checking out is the new poster for Imagi's CG-animated Gatchman flick, a rad new poster for Steven Soderbergh's The Informant, and a terrible poster for the upcoming comedy Motherhood. What is going on with Uma Thurman's career?

So which ones are hits and which ones are misses? Get a good look at all these posters, and more, after the jump.

Well we've seen some weird crossovers and cameos in the WWE over the years, most recently with Mickey Rourke's appearance at Wrestlemania [1], but even more odd and unexpected was last night's Monday Night Raw [2] which happened to feature none other than Jeremy Piven and Ken Jeong, stars of the upcoming comedy The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard. They apparently started off as guest hosts, but eventually entered the ring to try and put the "smackdown" (?) on 12 Rounds star John Cena.

Jeremy Piven was pretty much born to be a wrestler, I just wonder how his hair didn't fall off when he went up on the top rope. Still, I think they managed to plug The Goods quite a few times... will it be enough to put a dent in the box office on August 14th? Considering they're going up against District 9, I doubt it. You can watch the whole match on YouTube right now, and I've embedded the first video after the jump.
