Remembering the ’80s: Silver Bullet

Remembering the ’80s is a new column reminiscing about the good, the bad and the ugly from 1980’s cinema.
With the passing of Corey Haim (1971-2010), I thought that I would look back at one of the cooler movies he did in the ’80s. Now to me his best was The Lost Boys, but a close second would have to be Silver Bullet.
Silver Bullet was based on Stephen King’s novelette, Cycle of the Werewolf, for which he also wrote the screenplay. The flick is about a teenager in a wheelchair (Haim), battling against a werewolf (played by Everett McGill) who is killing off the people of a small town.
