Film Junk Poll: Which Movie Would You Like to See Win Best Picture?
With Ben Affleck’s Argo now the odds-on favourite to win Best Picture at this year’s Academy Awards, it feels like public opinion is starting to turn and the backlash is well underway. It’s weird to think that Steven Spielberg’s Lincoln has somehow become the underdog in this situation, but it’s hard to compete with Ben Affleck’s charisma and aw shucks humility. Still, all things considered, I think the nine movies that are up for Best Picture this year make for a pretty solid line-up and I’m curious what movie everyone would vote for if they had the chance.
