Trance Red Band Trailer

Normally I wouldn’t have gone out of my way to watch another trailer for Danny Boyle’s upcoming film Trance as the first trailer had already more than sold me on it. However, I was intrigued by the fact that Fox Searchlight had decided to release a red band trailer for the movie when it didn’t seem like the kind of movie that needed one. After all, it’s just a heist movie, right?

As it turns out, the new trailer offers a few glimpses of violence, but it’s the trippy and disturbing sequence towards the end that will most definitely get people talking. It wouldn’t feel out of place in a David Cronenberg flick and it may force you to re-evaluate what kind of movie you think this is. Trance hits select theatres on April 5th; check out the trailer after the jump and see what you think.

    The trailer looks awesome, but miss Dawson’s presence has me worried. She’s a peach, as Frank would say, but her acting skills are not exactly stellar imo.
