Although we weren’t the biggest fans of the found footage horror anthology film V/H/S around these parts, the concept was intriguing and it definitely seemed to strike a chord with genre fans. Now the sequel is about to premiere at Sundance and the first teaser trailer has been unleashed on the web. The oh-so-clever title S-VHS refers of course to the higher-quality video format that followed VHS.

The follow-up film features a new line-up of directors that includes Gareth Evans (The Raid: Redemption), Eduardo Sanchez (The Blair Witch Project) and Jason Eisener (Hobo with a Shotgun). Although the teaser looks pretty similar to the previous film, the line-up might still be enough to convince me to check it out. A release date has not yet been announced for S-VHS, but I assume it will follow the same release pattern as its predecessor. Check out the trailer after the jump and let us know what you think!
