Eli Roth’s Hemlock Grove Trailer

It’s shaping up to be a big year for Netflix when it comes to expanding their line-up of original content. In addition to the new season of Arrested Development, David Fincher’s House of Cards, Jenji Kohan’s Orange is the New Black, and Ricky Gervais’ Derek, one of the other new shows that Netflix will be launching in 2013 is Hemlock Grove. Produced by Eli Roth, it is a horror series that revolves around a murder mystery in a small town. It would appear that werewolves and/or some other supernatural creatures are involved and it bears more than a passing resemblance to True Blood. The show stars Famke Janssen and Dougray Scott and it debuts on April 19th; check out the official trailer after the jump and let us know what you think.

    Excited to see any type of directorial output from Roth.

    The trailer seems aimed at a mid-90′s goth teen and/or the average Twilight fan looking for something with more “adult situations”. As a Netflix subscriber it will be pretty painless to give it a whirl but I don’t think I’m anywhere near the target demographic.
