If you were wondering what David Fincher has been up to since The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, a trailer for his next project has been unveiled this week: the upcoming Netflix original series House of Cards. Based on the BBC series of the same name, the show stars Kevin Spacey as Rep. Frank Underwood, a politician working his way up the ladder in Washington. David Fincher directed the first two episodes, while Joel Schumacher and James Foley (Glengarry Glen Ross) handled the rest. Surprisingly, Aaron Sorkin is not involved, even though it kinda looks like a mash-up of The West Wing, The Newsroom and The Social Network. The entire series debuts exclusively on Netflix on Feb. 1st; check out the trailer after the jump and see what you think.
