Film Junk Poll: What is the Best Roman Polanski Movie?

With the new Criterion release of Rosemary’s Baby arriving just in time for Halloween, it seems like an appropriate time to debate and discuss the entire filmography of Roman Polanski. Although he has been mostly silent over the past decade with his legal status overshadowing his creative work, his most recent films have reminded us that he is still a director to be reckoned with. Of course, many of his early films are still regarded as masterpieces and that is not likely to change anytime soon. So let’s try to focus on the movies rather than the person… what is the best Roman Polanski film? Cast your vote in this week’s poll and then sound off in the comments below.

My favorite is The Ninth Gate, can watch that movie over and over. Since it is not on the list i choose The Pianist.
