Movie Poster Round-Up: Red 2, Lincoln, Skyfall
Prepare yourselves… we’ve got plenty of new posters to catch up on from the past month or so including a batch of character posters for Skyfall, a teaser poster for Spielberg’s Lincoln, and some very cool one sheets for P.T. Anderson’s The Master. The debut poster for Red 2 reminds us that there is yet another team of aging action stars coming back for a sequel, meanwhile the first poster for Here Comes the Boom airbrushes Kevin James to the point where he is virtually unrecognizable. Robert Rodriguez is also slowly putting out a series of character posters for Machete Kills, including one featuring Lady Gaga’s character La Chameleon.
As per usual, some of the coolest art in this installment comes courtesy of Mondo, and this time around their releases include an original poster for The Raid: Redemption by Jock and a collection of colourful ParaNorman pieces. However, I’m guessing the posters that are most likely to turn heads are a pair of NSFW posters for Nurse 3D starring Paz de la Huerta (naked, of course). Never heard of this movie before? Is it just me or do all of the Mondo posters lately look exactly the same?
