New to Theatres This Weekend: Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, The Secret World of Arrietty, This Means War

This weekend’s new releases have a tough battle ahead of them with last weekend’s crop of films being so strong, but This Means War seems the most likely possibility to dethrone The Vow as couples seek some late Valentine’s Day alternatives. Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance is a bit of an unknown, but if it makes even part of what the first movie made it could still do some decent business, meanwhile Disney is releasing Studio Ghibli’s The Secret World of Arrietty on quite a few screens as well. In select theatres, we have a pair of Oscar-nominated films to choose from with the high school football doc Undefeated making its debut alongside the Belgian crime drama Bullhead, and we also have a movie called Thin Ice starring Greg Kinnear, Billy Crudup and Alan Arkin. What will you be checking out this weekend?

Bullhead and Michael are both excellent. Worth seeing if they are playing near you.
I have to stay I’m pretty stoked for Ghost Rider. Hope it is more Crank 2 and less Gamer.
