Beauty Day Premieres on HBO Canada Tonight at 10 pm

Hey guys, I just wanted to post a quick reminder for anyone living in Canada that Jay’s documentary Beauty Day will be premiering in HD on HBO Canada tonight at 10 pm. If you can’t catch it tonight, it will be available via The Movie Network On Demand starting tomorrow, and it will also be re-airing at various times throughout the next few weeks. It will also be playing at the Dark Bridges Film Festival in Saskatoon on October 1st with Cap’n Video himself in attendance.
I know there are a lot of people outside of Canada who still haven’t had a chance to see it, and hopefully we will be able to get it into your eyeballs soon. The DVD and Blu-ray are in the works as we speak, and the movie will also be playing at the Zurich Film Festival in Switzerland this coming weekend (Jay will be at most of the screenings). In the meantime, spread the word to your Canadian friends and tell them to set their PVRs tonight. Check out the full airing schedule for Beauty Day, and for more info visit the film’s official site.

I was going to suggest some tech-savvy Canadian might set up a Justin.TV stream for us slowly Americans, but this may be frowned upon.

blu ray news is good news indeed. If it turns out to only be available in Canada, and there’s French on the spine… what’s gonna happen? Frank’s head will explode.

FlashMEDIALiveENCODER is a FREE program from adobe for LIVE STREAMING (even HD)
zonein.tv
is one of the many sites outhere that give you a RTMP link without having to sign in or give your personal information, you just click Broadcast!
the rest are very easy once you open the program,
you put the link on the right corner and aim your webcam at your TV and we watch.
(yaar)
or, if you want to stream your desktop use another FREE program called CAMTwist. (open it before AMLEncoder)
NOTE:
if you are a proper programer (not like frank)
..you can build a nice website (maybe flash that totally hides the streaming link, and you can host it in an anonymous Google blog!
nice.
Posted by kyri on September 20th, 2011I’m going to buy the shit out of the blu ray.
Posted by Nuno on September 20th, 2011Please, for the love of god! I live in Chicago and have been DYING to see this. Ralph has been the subject of several ‘inside jokes’ amongst me and my cohorts for years now, so you can imagine our glee when we found out that our favorite film junker made a documentary about him. I would really prefer to pay to see this as opposed to downloading it. I’m sure many of you, like myself, would rather support jay instead of stealing it so please, make it possible for us to get our hands on it. Thanks in advance…
Posted by SeanC on September 20th, 2011well done !!! love that he allways had a beer or a smoke and man was that one hard fall, must have fucking hurt
