The Avengers Teaser Trailer
Just in case you didn’t stay to the end of the credits after Captain America (or didn’t see Captain America at all), Marvel has finally released The Avengers teaser trailer online for all to see. I guess it could be considered slightly spoiler-y since it is also the end of the Captain America epilogue, but if you know anything about The Avengers you probably knew how they were going to tie the two films together anyway. There is really only 10 or 15 seconds of footage from The Avengers here, and whether or not any of this will even end up in the final product is anyone’s guess.
It all underscores the fact that this is an odd group of characters to have in a team together; they really do all come from different worlds, although I guess that’s kind of the point. It’s interesting to note that the costume that Chris Evans is wearing seems a little more traditional and not at all like the costume he ended up wearing throughout the latter half of the Captain America film. Sadly, Mark Ruffalo is nowhere to be found. What do you think, does this get you excited or is it a weak first attempt at a teaser? The Avengers hit theatres on May 4th, 2012; check out the trailer after the jump.
