The Dark Knight Rises Teaser Trailer (Official Version in HD)
After being forced to endure a bootleg version of The Dark Knight Rises teaser trailer for the past week and having it continually pulled off YouTube and every other video sharing service known to man, an official version of the trailer has finally arrived online this week… on Facebook of all places. Personally I don’t see why Warner Brothers made us wait, as it’s not like people were paying to see the final Harry Potter movie just to see the first trailer for The Dark Knight Rises. After all this time, it doesn’t really feel like it was worth the wait.
Still, aside from the recycled footage from previous films, we do get an intriguing scene with Commissioner Gordon in a hospital bed pleading for the return of The Batman and a quick glimpse of Tom Hardy as Bane. Is it just me or does he look a little bit like Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Cobra Commander in G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra? Anyway, I’m excited but this trailer isn’t giving us much to go on. Maybe that’s for the best though. The Dark Knight Rises hits theatres on July 20th, 2012; check out the official teaser after the jump and see what you think.

Looks fucking fantastic. But I have a question: Who is that on the bed? Gordon?
Also, I wonder how Bane will talk and emote with that mask covering his mouth. Hmmm…. speculations begin!

Posted by kyri on July 18th, 2011i think that it dont matter how vague the trailer is,we all know that nolan aint gonna stuff it up!the last two films were great,i am an auzzy,so when they anounced heath ledger was playing the joker on the last film,most of us australian movie buffs said”NO not that dick he cant act for sh..!” but under nolans direction he was fantastic,so this new little teaser has just got my blood pumping like the venom that flows through banes veins.

Posted by Captain N on July 18th, 2011I’ll be getting to work on this in a couple of weeks when they shoot in Pittsburgh, and I’ve heard from a friend on the crew that there’s some pretty interesting action stuff planned, so I’m pretty psyched. They’ll also be doing some minor Avengers stuff around these parts at the same time. If I get to be GCPD and SHIELD in the same month, I’m gonna have a massive nerdgasm all over the place. Yeah, they’ll be cleaning that up for weeks…

Love the Bane and Batman shot in the end looks awesome! Can’t wait for this! Nolan has really done no wrong…hope this isn’t his first!

Posted by Marck on July 20th, 2011I really don’t think Batman or Gordon will actually die. Nolan wouldn’t end the movie like that. I’m sure there will be some sort of culmination, but there will always be a sense of Batman’s existance being neverending.
