What you refer to as the Dewey Theme is actualy out of the Broken Arrow Score by Hans Zimmer
Danny Elfman wrote the whole Cassandra-Play-Music in Pt. 2
Posted by Bino on April 19th, 2011Well done, pretty good discussion on the Scream series.
Posted by Gord on April 19th, 2011If you´re gonna watch martial art movies for the next show, you really should check out Undisputed 2 & 3 to compare American martial art vs Asian martial art.
Posted by patrik on April 19th, 2011I’d recommend checking out either of the 5 Deadly Venoms flicks, Master of the Flying Guillotine or Human Lanterns. I’m not a huge martial arts or Shaw Bros. fan but those movies are all really entertaining and have some decent exploitation elements, especially Human Lanterns.
I recently picked up a movie called Killer Snakes as well which isn’t really martial arts but it IS an extremely sleazy Chinese ripoff of Willard with snakes replacing rats. It made me think of Jay when I watched it. Mainly because I always think of Jay while watching Chinese movies and masturbating.
On the American front, Undefeatable is one of the most amazing martial arts films of all time.

Posted by fatbologna on April 19th, 2011Are you guys planning on watching that Mortal Kombat thing that is being made or is made?
Mitch Hedberg’s first standup album is piss pants funny.
Also, just cuz you brought up the Madea movie, everyone should go to google and google youtube then search in youtube “Adam Carolla” and “Tyler Perry” to hear Adam’s opinion of his movies. I agree wholeheartedly with it.
Posted by Jason Martynowski on April 19th, 2011Nic Cage is the fucking man.
Posted by Kasper on April 19th, 2011Martial Arts, either the American Ninja or Blood Fist series!
Posted by Steve Kasan on April 19th, 2011HOLDING OUT FOR THAT ROOFTOP SCREENING I HEARD THROUGH THE RUMOR MILL. :X
Posted by Falsk on April 19th, 2011Count another fan of Mitch Hedberg, and early Bill Cosby can’t be beat for performance alone, particularly Revenge, Revenge, I Started Out As a Child, Why Is There Air?, and, of course, To Russell, My Brother, Whom I Slept With. Patton Oswalt’s Feelin’ Kinda Patton is sweet, too.
Posted by Nat Almirall on April 19th, 2011frank reminds me of this guy

Posted by crab sandwich on April 19th, 2011Would randomly recommend Andy Daly’s “Nine Sweaters” album, as well as John Mulaney’s “The Top Part”, both excellent albums I don’t think most others on this thread will ever have heard about otherwise.
Posted by Goon on April 19th, 2011I REALLY think George Carlin deserves a second chance. The last special he did before he died, Life is Worth Losing is some of the best standup I’ve ever seen and while it is based around social commentary it’s still very funny.
Some other notable specials are Patrice O’Neal’s Elephant in the Room, Dave Attel’s Captain Miserable, Joe Rogan’s Talking Monkeys in Space and Jim Norton’s Despicable is a pretty good album. Some more obscure dudes worth checking out are Jamie Kilstein, Kyle Kinane and James Fritz from the Red Bar Radio podcast. Red Bar is one of the consistently funny comedy podcasts available if you have a tolerance for extreme anger and ironic racism.
I’d love to hear Frank choose a different special or album to review every week and make a little mini-feature out of it!
Posted by Fatbologna on April 19th, 2011Oddly enough my cousin Kyle is on the Red Bar podcast pretty frequently. He might even be considered a co-host at this point.
Posted by Matt Gamble on April 19th, 2011I never understood the hate that Scream 3 got/gets. Someone needs to explain the almost unanimous hatred for the third movie.
Posted by Anthony on April 19th, 2011Jamie Kennedy is amazing in Scream.
Posted by rjdelight on April 19th, 2011Matt Gamble,
Posted by Fatbologna on April 20th, 2011Do you mean Kyle Lane? If so you’ve just boggled my fucking mind.
Or should I refer to him as Kyle Shoop?
Posted by Fatbologna on April 20th, 2011I think Pacino’s best recent role that I’ve seen is Insomnia.
Posted by Mason on April 20th, 2011Yeah, that’s him.
Posted by Matt Gamble on April 20th, 2011Kevin Williamson actually created Dawson’s Creek. Based off his youth or some such nonsense.
Posted by Bryan (Drunken Zombie) on April 20th, 2011Can’t wait to see Beauty Day. When will a torrent be leaked?
