The Hangover 2 Trailer

The sequel to the highest-grossing R-rated comedy of all time is nearly upon us. The Hangover Part II is one of the last major summer blockbusters to finally release a trailer, and the fact that it has taken so long definitely has some people wondering what’s up. You may remember that Warner Brothers marketed the crap out of the first film, and it paid off in spades, but they’ve been pretty slow out of the gate with this one.
The first trailer is really just a stylish teaser that flashes some quotes from critics and a short scene of Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis looking like they’ve been through hell yet again. As previously announced, this movie finds them traveling to Thailand, although not much else is known about the plot. Ken Jeong, Justin Bartha and yes, Mike Tyson, are all supposed to be reprising their roles, along with new appearances from Liam Neeson, Jamie Chung, Juliette Lewis and Bill Clinton, but you’ll have to wait for the next trailer to catch a glimpse of them. Will they succeed in topping the last one? Find out on May 26th! In the meantime, check out the first trailer for The Hangover Part II after the jump.

So are they redoing the same plot as the last time? Where’s the doug character, did he vanish again?
Posted by Joel on February 24th, 2011Nice teaser! In the end almost forces you to laugh!
Posted by FoxMulder on February 24th, 2011Terribly overrated movie. They’re going to milk the s**t out of this franchise.
Posted by Aaron F. on February 24th, 2011not on par with Beauty Day, but close

Posted by Juan on February 24th, 2011The only thing im lookign foward to is Neeson and Clinton’s”cameos”, but sucks we already know they are gonna be there for at least one scene

Posted by Kim in CA on February 24th, 2011this film tries too hard to appeal to average joe… its twilight for guy next door.
Posted by anton on February 24th, 2011Lol there are so many pretentious haters at this site. Makes me laugh
Posted by James on February 24th, 2011the fact that it makes you laugh is pretty pretentious.
Posted by anton on February 24th, 2011The first 1 didn’t make me laugh at all so fool me once
Posted by Cakadoodle on February 25th, 2011Kinda liked the first one, but I don´t really see where this one can go to repeat the success…they can´t pull the same story again!
Posted by Fantasy on February 25th, 2011@Rus Beauty Day and this are pretty much the same thing imo
Posted by Drew on February 25th, 2011I expect the plot will indeed be the same as the first one, but I don’t really see that as a problem. It’s a bit like watching 24…you know certain things are going to happen, but you just go along for the ride cos it’s an enjoyable way to turn your brain off.
Posted by Liney on February 25th, 2011I think this movie is wayyyy overrated and I don’t consider myself pretentious. I don’t hate the movie, but it is not as funny as EVERYONE I’ve heard say it is.
Posted by Jason Martynowski on February 25th, 2011Just because you don’t like a movie that everyone else in the fucking world loves doesnt make you pretentious. I personally thought it was just alright, which was dissapointing because I really like the actors in it.
Posted by Drew on February 25th, 2011i think for the last few years comedy is doing on TV so much better.
Posted by anton on February 25th, 2011Jesus alot of hate on for this one. Personally I laughed so it did it’s job, and so did alot of other people. I think the fact that it’s set in Bangkok is funny just on a concept level so I’m excited. But did anyone else notice it didn’t mention 3d. On the other hand though cinematography wise this trailer looked pretty awesome. Agree?
Posted by Drewsifer on February 26th, 2011Was the first one really that funny? I had a few laughs, but it wasn’t even the funniest movie of the year for me.
And they ruined the shit out of this one. The whole point of a cameo is that it should just be a blink-and-you’ll-miss moment. Having announced the whole Mel Gibson thing, then retracting it, then announcing it’s Liam Neeson defeats the whole purpose.
Posted by Strand0410 on February 27th, 2011I can not wait for Battle: Los Angeles and Apollo 18. The reason being is for the great surprise that both movies have some truth to them. I was really amazed by that fact. The special effects are amazing in both movies and great acting from all too. I am very pleased to pay for two seats to see these excellent movies. I have not been to a theater in a few years! Cheers.
Posted by Lorraine Tauson on February 27th, 2011I can’t wait to see this! Wish they would slip us a little more of what’s to come though.
Posted by OST on February 28th, 2011I live in Bangkok, Thailand. All I can tell you is that I’m sure whatever is in this movie, it’s all true and then some! “Hello, what’s your name, where you come from, what you do…. you want me?” AWESOME!
Posted by Vader on March 4th, 2011Very anxious to see this movie, my son appears in it. Very proud of him!!!
