Honestly this movie looks like it might be a fun, JT does a scarily good Boo Boo so I might go see it cos I do like these CGI & Live Action movies a lot more than I should… though not the 3D one, will the 3D fad please go die in a ditch now?

Oh, and also regarding Comment #2, I completely don’t understand why in the last decade, when Robert Deniro’s name is associated with a project you normally wouldn’t associate him with, people go “Oh my God, why would he do THAT?”. They seem to have forgotten (understandably so) that he did “Bullwinkle”. Rather than ask why he’s doing “Machete” or a 3rd “Meet the Parents”, they should be saying “Well, at least it isn’t ‘Bullwinkle’”.

Comment #2—They forgot what they had learned after “Alvin and the Chipmunks” made over 200 million, and since the sequel ALSO made over 200 million, we can expect studios to run the animation/live action well dry.

Aside from “Garfield” being terrible (to be fair though, it wasn’t a movie aimed at ME), my main problem was that they didn’t do a CG Odie. Odie has a very odd, distinctive look, and if Garfield wasn’t going to look the least bit realistic, I don’t know why Odie had to be a normal looking dog. They half-assed what was already a half-assed (making it quarter-assed?) movie.
