Film Junk Poll: What is the Best Angelina Jolie Movie?

I can’t say I’m really looking forward to Salt this weekend, but if there’s one actress who can turn the movie into a successful summer blockbuster by her mere presence alone, it is Angelina Jolie. It’s a bit strange to think that she has become known as a female action star over the years, considering that she started her career doing mostly dramatic roles, even winning an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress in Girl, Interrupted in 1999. However, it was Lara Croft: Tomb Raider that changed everything and turned her into massive star. Looking back over her filmography, there is actually a decent balance of serious dramas and popcorn flicks. What would you say is her best movie to date? Cast your vote in this week’s poll, and feel free to discuss your favourite Jolie performances in the comments below.

I don’t understand why people even like her. Her acting skills are at most decent, and I don’t find her particularly attractive.
Posted by bard on July 22nd, 2010Shut ya mouf Bard. Her acting skills are existent and she’s one of the hottest actresses in the game. My vote, however, is for Taking Lives… at least the unrated edition. Gets me all hot and bothered. Dedicated many a boner to that movie.

Posted by cinekillblog on July 22nd, 2010For acting is it even a question? Certainly A Mighty Heart was her shining moment.
In terms of my favorite movie she’s in: probably Hackers or Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
Posted by Andrew James on July 22nd, 2010I thought it said A Might Wind! I was confused… I haven’t seen A Might Heart though, was it good?
