I was looking forward to Mel Gibson's version of "Fahrenheit 451." Alicia, have you seen the NBC mini-series of The Martian Chronicles starring Rock Hudson that was done in the 70's? The screenplay was written by Richard Matheson, who wrote The Incredible Shrinking Man. Critics hated it, but I actually enjoyed the moralistic script. The visual effects are laughable, though. Then there are The Ray Bradbury Theatre versions of some of The Martian Chronicle Stories. Even though the screenplays are written by Bradbury, I didn't find any of these episodes interestingly done. Ray Bradbury is one of my favorite authors.
