Iron Man 2 Trailer #2
Robert Downey Jr. appeared on Jimmy Kimmel last night to debut the new trailer for Iron Man 2, but just in case you missed it, the full trailer is also now online over at Yahoo!. For the most part, it just seems to show extended versions of all the scenes we previously saw in the first teaser trailer… I guess maybe that’s why I was just a little bit underwhelmed by it.
We did get a better look at Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow and plenty of extra footage of Mickey Rourke as Whiplash, plus our very first look at Sam Rockwell as Justin Hammer. The trailer ends by unveiling a cool new Iron Man suit. What do you think, is this going to surpass the first Iron Man film, or will it just be more of the same? Iron Man 2 hits theatres on May 7th; check out the new trailer after the jump.

Posted by OOujou on March 8th, 2010The gadgets are cool, there are many nods to the original comics, the dialogue is witty and fun, the special effects are seamless. I think the movie will do just fine; at the very least the comics geeks will be happy and the ladies will be happy staring at RDJ, as a lady comics geek I guarantee you that.
I think I’d just like to see Ironman fight something that isn’t other Ironmen. Didnt we already see that in #1?

Posted by Harsh Agrawal on March 9th, 2010Looks amazing. I love how the Iron Man suit now fits in a briefcase (just like the cartoon) so he can carry it around everywhere. Something annoying? The fact that in the scenes where Iron Man and those drones land on the ground with explosive force of an earthquake, yet the stage/stone they land on is without a scratch.
