Capcom’s Dead Rising Movie Trailer
Considering that Capcom’s Dead Rising video game borrows so much from George A. Romero’s zombie classic Dawn of the Dead, a live action movie adaptation should be either completely obvious or completely useless, depending on your point of view. With the release of Dead Rising 2 being planned for this summer, it appears that Capcom has finally decided to put together an official Dead Rising feature film to help promote it. Don’t get too excited though… this definitely isn’t a big budget Hollywood release coming to a theatre near you.
According to Kotaku, the Dead Rising movie will be co-written and directed by legendary game designer/producer Keiji Inafune, and will be available exclusively on Xbox Live and on the game’s official website. That should give you a better idea of the quality we can expect from this movie, which I am guessing was partially inspired by the short film Zombie Movie that was released on Steam a few years ago. At the very least, the trailer does promise plenty of gore, and a wheelchair with chainsaws attached to it. Check out the trailer after the jump and see what you think.

Posted by Robert on November 7th, 2010LMFAO seriously if you value your respect to capcom DO NOT watch it, I wathed the first 5 mins and LOL the acting and voice acting is so horrible, the blood effevts are pretty much red sauce or something no effort whatso ever in the enitre film or in the attempt at lip syncing. absolutley SHIT.
