DC President Diane Nelson dismisses rumours of Nolan’s involvement, but leaves the door open for a future announcement. Is there more to the story here?

  1. I’m sort of glad he’s not involved with Superman, I’ve never been a big fan of Superman so I’d rather see him do something else with his time.

    One reason why I’ve never been a big Superman fan is he’s just too strong. I’ve always preferred heroes that had something to lose, like Batman, Punisher, most X-Men. The only thing that can kill Superman is a shiny green rock, how uncool is that.

  2. More interesting is that DC has a new president, never heard of Diane Nelson, wonder if she has a comics background? Nolan’s Superman role could simply have been to keep the train on the rails and shoot down any silly stuff like Nick Cage as Emo Superman etc.

  3. @Itchy-Finger, they didn’t say Nolan won’t be involved, just that it’s a rumor and they don’t comment on rumors. That’s a typical non-denial denial. Doesn’t mean Nolan is definitely involved, but it sounds to me like it’s still likely.
