Movie Poster Round-Up: The Last Airbender, The Ghost Writer, Hot Tub Time Machine

As you might expect with the Sundance Film Festival going on last week, there were quite a few cool movie posters that surfaced for many of the movies in competition. When combined with some of the new one-sheets for upcoming studio releases, this week’s movie poster round-up is actually a pretty decent collection of graphic design brilliance.
Some of the more eye-catching designs include David Michôd’s Animal Kingdom, Don Argott’s The Art of the Steal, the Italian film I Am Love, and Philip Seymour Hoffman’s directorial debut Jack Goes Boating. We also have a pair of posters for M. Night Shyamalan’s The Last Airbender, a new Tron Legacy quad, and two awesome retro posters for Frozen and The House of the Devil courtesy of Mondo. Check out the full gallery after the jump.

“Frozen” may be the best designed but I’m not sure it fits the style of the movie.
Posted by Big Hungry on February 3rd, 2010I would have to give “Hot Tub Time Machine” the worst design (would of been better with out the people pics) but I still want to see the movie.
the ghost writer one is sure boring

Posted by Sean on February 4th, 2010How strange is it to see Paul Giamatti’s name on that IRON CLAD poster?
I can’t wait for The Last Airbender.
Posted by Henrik on February 4th, 2010John Cusack’s face in this poster looks like he’s saying “I’m seriously in this movie?”
Posted by Jackson on February 4th, 2010I hate the writing down the center of their backs on the Last Airbender posters, but othwerwise I like them. I think my favorite in the group might be Wall Street or I Am Love.
