Sylvain White’s The Losers Trailer
A new trailer for Sylvain White’s The Losers has just aired online, and let me tell you, it’s nothing short of a winner. Starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Zoe Saldana, Idris Elba, Chis Evans, Holt McCallany, Columbus Short, Oscar Jaenada, Peter Macdissi, and Jason Patric, this new action-thriller chronicles a “team of bad-ass Black Ops soldiers, dubbed The Losers, betrayed and left for dead by Jason Patric’s megalomaniacal villain, Max.” Based on the DC Comic of the same name, the helmer of the project (White) happens to be the director of 2007’s popular Stomp the Yard.
For anyone familiar with my taste, it’s no secret that I’m partial to action films. Die Hard really solidified my appreciation of the genre. But when it comes to comic-based action movies, I’m somewhat hesitant. The Spider-Man series was tolerable to a certain degree, and I wasn’t even remotely entertained by the X-Men films. However, this trailer for The Losers leaves me anticipating its release with great interest. The online film community are buzzing about how the film looks like a better rendition of The A-Team. Posted by Chris on January 30th, 2010Hmmm this trailer is cool and all but it didn’t sell me on the film just yet. There’s something about this trailer that screams “Smokin’ Aces” and we all know how hell that turned out (insert sarcasm)^_^.
I will say though that it has a killer cast of terrific actors and I’m hoping that it turns out well.

Posted by bullet3 on January 31st, 2010I suppose it could turn out really good, if it sticks to a straight-forward story and delivers some good action, but this is definitely a wait-and-see movie. Also isn’t it funny that The Losers, The Takers, and The A-Team, 3 super similar movies are coming out within like 2 months of eachother?
Turned out I agreed with you on the new “She’s Out of My League” trailer, so I’ll give you some leeway Crews. You’re on notice though, buddy.
