Good review Sean. I also enjoyed the film, but I dont think it’s a film everyone should rush to the theater to see. Definitely a rental. Hopefully this is the last film I’ll see Cera in as a teenager. Oh wait, still haven’t seen Paper Heart. Gah!!! There is always next year.

Quite surprised I enjoyed it as much as I did. While drowning in work, its sense of humor and creativity worked very much for me, especially after it hits its stride around a half hour in. It’s even kind of cute. 3.5/4

Loved, loved this movie. As Sean points out, it’s not laugh a minute, but neither was Rushmore – and I doubt I would find YIR half as charming if it was. Was going to wait for DVD on this one but caught a 10:20am $5.00 screening of it instead, and was glad I did.

I think that Michael Cera is a talented actor. You are right he is marketed as the shy guy. Every movie he has been in has made me crack up due to his facial expressions. Have not seen this one yet but after what you have said, I can’t wait.

I absolutely loved this flick and thought Cera was great. I’m not sure why it was delayed so many times.

Will you guys be reviewing this on this week’s podcast? Which I’m hoping will be up later tonight.
