hi friends!

Posted by LOUIS on January 4th, 2010Cheers Guys
Posted by Pual on January 4th, 2010Amazing. That dead-air Reed clip was the best, as was Jay’s rendition of Faith of the Heart. May I suggest that for episode 300 you round up all the guest stars from over the years (Chin, Doug, Singe, Frank, and of course Reed) and have an epic round table. It would be sweet.
Posted by rjdelight on January 4th, 2010Thanks Sean, you’re the MAN. I’ll listen to this in the morning

Posted by Nick Robertson on January 4th, 2010Can’t wait to listen to it!
Posted by Stefan on January 4th, 2010I am pumped
Posted by Dom_G on January 4th, 2010Looking forward to this one.
Posted by mrbenning on January 4th, 2010Man, Reed saying that he hated Star Trek and then saying he loved the film had laughing breathless
Posted by Robot on January 4th, 2010Frickin brilliant episode guys.
Posted by Billy Boyd Cape on January 4th, 2010so i filled my ipod with embrace and minor threat and your show and the opening song being salad days blew my shit off. youve made this suicidal faggot happy. thanks filmjunks
Posted by kris on January 4th, 2010I’m delighted that I could contribute to Film Junk history with a Martin Lawrence reference.
Posted by Wintle on January 4th, 2010I completely forgot about the Talkshoe cold reading
Posted by Goon on January 4th, 2010Thanks for putting this together Sean, kick as work!
Posted by Marc on January 4th, 2010Still can’t stop laughing. The angry rants from Jay stole the show though for me. oh and sorry Greg you seeing the wrong movie still wins best moment of FilmJunk to date.
Posted by Billy Boyd Cape on January 4th, 2010Thanks Sean, for all the work it must have taken you to put all the soundfiles together. I am relatively new to your podcast, so it was interesting to listen to the old stuff.
Posted by Eisensammler on January 4th, 2010Although, I do have to say that Jay’s comment on The Dark Knight not being a metaphor about Bush’s war against terror was a bit stupid. I mean, what does he think the movie is about? A guy in a rubber costume beating up bad guys? Even if Nolan didn’t put in in there deliberately (which I think he did) the whole suspending basic rights of the suspects/Guantanamo/secret prisons/waterboarding stuff was part of the Zeitgeist when Nolan made the film.
Anyway, thanks for the show and keep up the good work!
I had a great time putting it together. Thanks for all your contributions and I’m glad you are all enjoying it.
Posted by Sean on January 4th, 2010Without a doubt Jay’s psychic hotline is the best FJ moment. How that dude keeps a straight face I have no idea.
Posted by Rusty James on January 4th, 2010Sean, do you have any clips of your appearances on TMB. That was the first I’d ever heard of you guys.
Posted by Rusty James on January 4th, 2010Just started listening to this one, but just had to comment on how awesome it was to have one of my favourite Minor Threat tunes at the beginning. Got me super pumped!
Posted by KeithTalent on January 4th, 2010That was spectacular.
Posted by Glendon on January 4th, 2010I find it funny that the band Audio Diarrhea from Texas lists Jay Cheel as an influence.
You might not be able to tell from Jay’s impromptu breaking out into song, but I happen to think that Jay sings really well and is a great songwriter. For a couple of years, I’ve had two of his songs on my MP3 player: “Boat_Versus_Whale” and “Change of the Seasons.” I never seem to get tired of these songs. (To give you an idea of the type of music I like, my favorite bands are The Beatles and XTC.) He also did an excellent home production job on these songs in my opinion. I don’t know if there are any links to these songs on the Internet. In my mind, music’s loss is filmmaking’s gain. I’m not sure if Jay realizes my sincerity whenever I mention this.
Posted by Reed Farrington on January 4th, 2010Rusty: I still have the MP3 of our TMB appearance somewhere. To be honest, it wasn’t amazing, and I don’t blame TMB listeners for freaking out about it.
Posted by Sean on January 4th, 2010yeah, I vaguely remember it. I remember John wasn’t on. It was just Doug and you guys. And maybe Darren Connely.
Posted by Rusty James on January 4th, 2010I’m gonna’ get AIDS!
Kills me every time.
Posted by KeithTalent on January 4th, 2010Goon – I still remember that cold reading back when you guys would only get like 10 viewer join in on the live cast.
I agree with Jay that this is a great gateway episode to the podcast. I could listen to this episode multiple times for sure.
Sean – I consider this a belated x-mas present to the listeners. Thanks for putting all the clips together. Much appreciated man.
Posted by Primal on January 4th, 2010I heard it the first time around but had forgotten some of the particulars of the Jay colon cancer story. I laughed till I cried listening to it again last night.
Posted by Jon on January 4th, 2010very nice, much love
Posted by rus in chicago on January 4th, 2010Whenever I see S.O.S. Fantômes in the store I think of you guys.
Posted by KeithTalent on January 4th, 2010Sean, could you post the movie blog episode you were on?
Posted by rjdelight on January 4th, 2010I was sad not hear the shart tale but I did I try your primer suggestion and my car was full laughter during our daily lunch drive. I had never heard the rant where Jay accuses the mom working at Wal-Mart of having a head full of milk. We’ve decided to use that at work now when someone acts like a dumbass. “Get the milk out of your head douche!”
Posted by Mrespony on January 4th, 2010Nice grammar. Get the milk out douche!
Posted by Mrespony on January 4th, 2010Excellent clip show. Was laughing all the time. Sadly the best part of the driving lesson story is missing: the part where Greg and Sean talk about a nickname for one of the instructors and Jay calls his ‘fat’ (i think).
Posted by RaphNL on January 4th, 2010This was goddamn beautiful, thanks.
Posted by anncine on January 4th, 2010Thx for the great show Sean. It’s been said a 1000 times but I’ll say it again: Greg watching the wrong movie is THE funniest moment I’ve ever heard on FJ. I can remember where I was exactly when I first heard it. When Greg starts to describe the plot of the film he mistakenly watches and Wintle goes “Dude, that f-ucking sucks!” Priceless.
Posted by projectgenesis on January 4th, 2010Not Wintle….Doug Nagy.

Posted by Jeff on January 4th, 2010My favorite didn’t make the clip show, but it was GREG asking the waitress if she just served him a Pizza on with a broken heart on Valentines….that killed me…x
Posted by xego on January 5th, 2010and “Child art” fuck I am just waiting for a chance to use that.
Posted by xego on January 5th, 2010i was worried some of my old Junk Mails would make the weird and wacky section, specifically the whole “Mrs. Cheel” thing, thank god they didn’t… God I was an idiot. XD
Posted by Drew on January 5th, 2010Absolute classic!!! heres to 5 more yrs….
Posted by Mavi on January 5th, 2010I say “GOOGLE IT” all the time now.
Also, a missed Reed moment that I’ve always loved: “As a Trekkie I thought it was awesome, as a film critic I thought it was awful.” Classic.
Posted by Falsk on January 5th, 2010This episode was amazing. I’m lucky to have been able to listen to every one of the posted episodes over the last year and a half. Great job guys.
“BABY ON FIRE … MY BABY’S ON FIRE”
Posted by Rob on January 5th, 2010Laughed so hard that my ribs hurt and the electricians in my house thought there was something seriously wrong with me. Thanks Guys!
Posted by froggiegirl0 on January 7th, 2010Awesome, awesome show. I laughed through pretty much the whole thing. There were just a few things missing for me, personally. One being the reviews of Death Race and The House Bunny and the other being the fan made intro to a segment that I don’t remember using Jay’s review of Halloween by Rob Zombie.
Posted by Matt on January 13th, 2010That is All.
