Sherlock was better than I expected, not fantastic but solid. The script was tight and Ritchie’s direction was a lot better than I’d have imagined with this material. The climax isn’t as strong as the build promises. It’s a 2.5/4 – I’d see the inevitable sequel. This thing is going to be bigger with the public than critics, I can already see it in the social media buzz and flixster/imdb response.

The firt A&tC isn’t good or anything, but it was actually better than I thought it’d be, which kind of ruined my ‘gotta watch this trainwreck’ rental. There’s far worse stuff out there for the kiddies.
