This Week on DVD: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Public Enemies, The Cove

Looks like we’re in for a few packed weeks of DVD releases leading up to Christmas, so get your wallets out and prepare to start emptying them. The biggest release in stores today is Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, which is obviously an essential purchase if you are a fan. Outside of that, we’ve also got Michael Mann’s Public Enemies, Julie & Julia and the Robin Williams dark comedy World’s Greatest Dad, plus a few cool docs including the Oscar shortlisted The Cove, and Oscilloscope’s Beautiful Losers. Also, you know you want these two beautiful box sets: Criterion’s AK 100: 25 Films by Akira Kurosawa and Lost: The Complete Fifth Season (Dharma Initiation Kit).
