New To Theatres This Weekend: Ninja Assassin, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Old Dogs

Happy Thanksgiving to our friends in the U.S.! There are three major movies in wide release for this long weekend, including The Wachowski Brothers’ Ninja Assassin, Wes Anderson’s stop motion flick Fantastic Mr. Fox, and the Disney comedy Old Dogs starring John Travolta and Robin Williams. It’s unclear if any of them will actually be able to dethrone New Moon at the box office, at least there is a good variety of options for a night out at any rate. As we mentioned yesterday, The Road is getting a significantly smaller release than expected, at least initially, and other films in limited release include Richard Linklater’s Me and Orson Welles and Disney’s The Princess and the Frog. What will you be watching this weekend?
- Old Dogs
- Ninja Assassin
- Fantastic Mr. Fox (wide)
- The Road (limited)
- Me and Orson Welles (limited)
- The Princess and the Frog (limited)
- The Private Lives of Pippa Lee (limited)
