Movie Poster Round-Up: Alice in Wonderland, Nine, The Book of Eli, Eli Roth’s Cotton and More!

We’ve got another avalanche of posters to throw your way this week, collecting a decent cross-section of posters that have been recently released online for upcoming films. First up are three gorgeous one sheets for Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, and I have to say, I am loving the look of this flick. Also hot off the presses are three posters for Rob Marshall’s musical and Oscar hopeful Nine that seem to play up the sex appeal (and is it just me or does Daniel Day Lewis look a little like Nicolas Cage here?).
Others that are worth a look include new art for District 13: Ultimatum, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, Kick-Ass, and Eli Roth’s upcoming faux-exorcism documentary Cotton. What’s up with that poster for The Road with the massive Rolling Stone quote on it? Who’s advertising for who? Check out the rest of the gallery after the jump and tell us which ones tickle your fancy.

The trees in the first poster make me think of “Pan’s Labyrinth”. Swirl Trees
“From Paris with Love” posters have the swiss design vibe going on and may be the best designed even though I am not sure about wanting to see the movie.
The Road poster could be the Rollingstone movie with that being so big on the poster. Yuck, but I do want to see this movie.
Again I love these posts.
Posted by Big Hungry on November 25th, 2009The Slammin’ Salmon looks absolutely horrible. I can’t believe Michael Clarke Duncan signed up for this… But then again, he also did the new Street Fighter-movie, so he might not be all that good at picking what to appear in and what not to.
Posted by Kasper on November 25th, 2009I dig the women of nine.
Even the crazy heart poster has the same color as The Wrestler…
Posted by Henrik on November 25th, 2009That leap year poster is incredibly boring.
I like the from paris with love posters
Posted by Niklas on November 25th, 2009Those Alice in Wonderland posters look awesome, can’t wait to see the movie
Posted by Ice Age Th4w on November 26th, 2009Not a lotta good posters in this installment. I only liked the Alice in Wonderland ones.
Btw, anybody noticed the Eye of Providence in the Imaginarium poster?
Posted by Napalm on November 26th, 2009alice in wonderland pics don’t really do it for me for some reason, maybe coz they’re too full of stuff all over the place. penelope’s looking hoooooot for nine, but i can’t say the same about fergie (stick to doing shitty music girl!). salt is reminding me of where in the wolrd is carmen sandiego, idk if that’s good or bad.. likin’s john travolta’s new playing badasses shtick (face/off was immense!), even though the films themselves probably ain’t much to write home about. also, what’s henry VIII doing in a french flick, my mind’s officially exploded. imaginaium ids too generic, kinda reminds me of the old national treasure posters.
Posted by AlexG on November 26th, 2009Looking forward to Nine
Posted by pcch7 on November 26th, 2009I don’t believe it, they’re making a ‘a town called panic movie’! I’ve seen the 2 min or so long bits they do on TV every now and then, but OMG a movie? dunno if they can pull it off, can’t wait to find out.
btw what’s with the caterpillar in the second ‘alice’ poster- i heard that they were going to stick alan ricckman’s face on… though i dunno if want to see his face on THAT… can’t wait to see the movie though
