I don’t know, it could be all right I guess. Usually I would be defending the action scenes in a big comedy, but it takes a good director like David Gordon Green or Jody Hill to make it work. You can’t just throw the director of night at the museum behind it and expect it to work. It just seems like a rip-off.

I thought it looked like good easy goofy movie fun. Think Adventures in Babysitting. (Seems like the same movie, actually.) You know you love that movie. So don’t deny it.

I saw Tina Fey and Steve Correl and I was thinking, “Oh man, this is going to be fuck-ing SWEET”. Then I saw the trailer. Then I finally looked up the IMDB credits of the writer and director. And then I lost all hope for the movie.

WHICH IS A SHAME because Tina Fey is HILARIOUS. Steve Correl, too! Uggggh. What a waste of talent!

Urgh. I hate it when action is being merged with comedy too much. I certainly prefer all-out comedy, no action. It feels forced and mediocre usually.
