Hell, I still want one to add to my collection of stuff. :-) Nothing will ever beat the original Short Circuit. But it would be nice to see Johnny 5 once again since I think he's been forgotten over the years. I just hope he looks the same and they don't change his design or it will be ruined completely. He had a unique look to him. Also, They got to get Tim Blaney back to reprise his role as the voice of Johnny 5. :-) I agree with that last comment, I admit, I always wanted a toy Johnny 5. I unabashedly love every second of both movies (especially 2). I disagree that it's fluff sean, quality kid's movies are a rare breed, ESPECIALLY now...and there is a lot of philosophical pondering to be made from johnny 5's condition. That said.
