I would LOVE to see another sequel. The first “Blair Witch” movie was fantastic and the second one was great no matter what anyone says.

i was 13 when the original came out and ill admit, i totally bought into the footage being found lol. thus making it scarier. and i remember it also gave me a headache. and Kyriacos i think the Bush quote goes “Fool me once, shame on you… fool me twice… well, you cant fool me twice.” haha

i agree, i think a movie showing the beginning of the blair witch would be better then another set of kids setting out to find what happend to the teens who set out to find out what happend to the teens who set out looking for the origins of the blair witch.

I remember back in the day that there were plans to make the third one a prequel and to show the origin of the Blair Witch. I’m a sucker for period horror so I was really looking forward to that.

I don’t always agree with sequels as they tend to get watered down but I think the first one was good enough to to have a sequel out 10 years later.

In a word: No.

It was brilliant for the time, but it’s been done since, and better. The ‘found footage’ thing should be kept to single-serving stories IMO. Part of their charm is how you’re only getting a chunk of the bigger story, and of what you are getting you’re only getting what the camera sees. The formula was made for horror/suspense… I’d rather see the camera in a wholly new scenario, much like Paranormal Activity has done, than a rehash of the “out-in-the-woods” setup.
