I suggest checking out Romero’s original first and then watch this one. It is is always better to see the original first. But this does look good!

Whenever I hear Timothy Olyphant speak in films (& the incredible Deadwood) he always reminds me of Bill Paxton.

Gears of War? That doesn’t count really.

So it’s been used twice, three times if you count GOW. Can’t really claim that it’s been over used. It’s just that it’s so connected to Donnie Darko that it seems out of place anywhere else.

I think Mad World is one of those songs that is reaching critical mass of being lame and cliched when used in a movie trailer. The movie looks fantastic

Honestly,…I don’t get all the hate on the use of Mad World. I liked it. Guess it’s just me. The movie look pretty good as well.

This looks like it could be added to the short list of remakes that are better than the original (which was outrageously boring to me).

First off– “Mad World” was a horrible choice, given the tone of the rest of the trailer.

Second– It actually looks like an enjoyable little horror film, but they really should have considered using a different title. “The Crazies” really sounds like a horror/comedy.

I’ll check this out on DVD for sure.
