Wes Anderson’s Fantastic Mr. Fox Trailer #2

The second trailer for Wes Anderson’s stop-motion animated film Fantastic Mr. Fox has hit the web this week, and it’s filled with choice quotes from critics raving over just how amazing this movie is. For example, Peter Travers says, “This movie deserves to be called groundbreaking.” Okay… so are you calling it groundbreaking then? Seems a little passive-aggressive if you ask me. Still, even if they’re trying a bit too hard with the praise, I’m really looking forward to this movie.
The second trailer hits all the typical Wes Anderson notes, from the familiar cast to the Futura font to the use of the Rolling Stones, but it’s in a new context and hey, that’s good enough for me. I know there were some concerns about the look of the animation in the first trailer, but I don’t really have any complaints this time around. Check out the new trailer below and see what you think; Fantastic Mr. Fox hits theatres everywhere on November 25th.

Posted by that motherfucker from vancouver on September 30th, 2009I love the visual style. Great choice in an over CG-aturated market.
Posted by ToeFu on September 30th, 2009The visuals will take some getting use to. I would much prefer the something like Coraline. But it looks awesome, and should be beautiful on Blu-ray.
