They loved to get themselves into all sorts of problems. One morning, I arrived before their dad left and he had just shown them a video tape of a compilation of Thomas episodes and they were mesmerized. He told me that I could put that tape in, press play and regardless of what they were up to, they'd stop and watch. I spent an entire summer getting to know Thomas. I fucking hate that show.
