Bad year for Shatner in regards to Star Trek. He gets no love from the reboot and now his directorial effort is screwed out of Blu-ray release. It’s not that bad and left a huge impression on me when I first saw it as a kid. I’d love to see the final Sha Ka Ree scene in its glory.

Yeah, Star Trek V won’t get released on Blu-ray until after I get a Blu-ray player and someone at Paramount finds out I have a Blu-ray player.

anyone like el superbeasto .. i wanted to like it, but it was kinda lame, but it did have cameos from characters in both of his other franchises.
and it did kinda feel like ren and stimpy or animaniacs a little, mixed with fritz the cat i guess .. but it was missing something and felt empty .. maybe it is better suited for kids.

Probably because no one would buy it except for Reed Farrington! Looks like they’re just releasing the even numbered ones individually for now.

I’ve been looking forward to the Observe and Report DVD release all year, I mean it’s probably my favorite movie of the year and i’m PROUD to say that. But I am SO pissed that the DVD has no Special Features and the Blu Ray has two discs!!! I mean it’s obviously the beginning of a new tactic to make people transition from DVD to Blu Ray. But unfortunately since they’ve done it to my favorite movie of the year, and since i’ve already had the Observe and Report poster on my wall for 6 Months, it’s enough for me to start saving to buy a Blu Ray Player.

Machete, I don’t get off on HD, so these re-releases of Star Trek movies don’t do anything for me. I’m a completist, but a frugal one.
