I find 30 Rock extremely funny, although the first half of season 3 was pretty contrived when they brought in a new celebrity for every episode. While I still enjoy the The Office, I get so sick of the broad humor. Michael Scott is like a cartoon and it just seems like he does the same thing in every episode.

By the way, Ben don't you think that the majority of TV watchers would obviously vote for the shows with the most viewers, like Lost and House, and that it's not necessarily a measure of a show's quality? Or do you really think Charlie Sheen should have won best comedy actor?

What MediaCurves doesn't tell you in is that those 500 Americans surveyed all live in Boca Raton, Florida. It kinda skews the numbers. Here's to ya'!

MediaCurves.com conducted a study asking 500 Americans who they wanted to win this year’s 61st Emmy awards earlier this month. While the results found that that 42% of viewers favored Fox’s ‘House’ for the best drama and 24% favored ABC’s ‘Lost’, the Emmy Award went to AMC’s Mad Men, which was the viewer’s third pick with 13% of the votes. More in depth results can be seen at: http://www.mediacurves.com/Entertainment/J7522b-Emmy-Awards/Index.cfm
Thanks,
Ben

Michael Emerson's Benjamin Linus is one of the best villains ever created and easily my favorite character on LOST. Glad to see him win.

Also, am I the only one who doesn't think 30 Rock is super hilarious? I mean, it makes me laugh at least once or twice an episode, but I really don't even think it's that much funnier than The Office is now and it certainly has never been as funny as The Office was a couple of years ago.

Although, looking at the other best comedy nominees... 30 Rock might be the best of that bunch.
