From Paris With Love Trailer Starring John Travolta
Have no fear, Travolta is here… or at least a weird version of Travolta where they’ve taken away all his hair and glued it onto his face instead! But as weird as he looks bald, it apparently makes him totally awesome! After playing a wacko terrorist in The Taking Of Pelham 123 he now returns to play a wacko agent in From Paris With Love, and while the two characters resemble each other a lot, there’s still something about this one that just seems better. It’s Travolta as we know him, the bad-guy era Travolta that wisecracks first and shoots later — and I’m loving it.
From Paris With Love could be called a buddy-cop movie, as it also stars Jonathan Rhys Meyers as a low-ranking intelligence operative working in the U.S. Ambassadors office in France who somehow ends up getting partnered with the high-ranking U.S. agent “Wax” who is in Paris to stop a terrorist attack, but who does it in his own very special way. The two then go through a lot of stuff that involves Rhys Meyers complaining about how craaaazy “Wax” is. It’s corny, but corny in a sweet and buttered up way. So go prepare yourself and get in Travolta mode, then come back and watch the trailer after the jump.

Posted by Henrik on September 18th, 2009I don’t like how it started off kinda comical and then towards the end became all serious and epic, but then ended on a comical note. Tonally the trailer goes for the extremes.
Other than that I thought it looked like a generic cop/action movie. Only thing that interests me is the bald Travolta.
