josh would be wonderful! I can see him pulling of the cow boy / tough guy character. After Lucky Number Slevin, I most definitely see him as a action fitting actor.

Let’s be real – in post-apocalyptic America, Hartnett would be the gang leader’s #1 biatch.

Do yourselves a favor and cast an unknown actor who can portray a believable tough guy. Hartnett is a teen-beat, sissy-boy and doesn’t have the chops.

The premise sounds cool but I have no frame of reference about the talent behind the idea which is what usually matters. But I agree that this movie is just going to add to the confusion when the first adaptation of the Dark Tower series comes out.

For a moment there I thought too that this was the first book in The Dark Tower series that was being adapted, what a let down. Still sounds cool though, post-apocalyptic flicks is just my thing.

It doesn’t, but the Dark Tower series is also coming to the big screen eventually, and I suppose this could cause some confusion when it does.

J.J. Abrams and Damon Lindelof have the rights to The Dark Tower, and will supposedly be doing it after the final season of Lost is over.

Does this have anything to do with Steven King’s Dark Tower series, where the first book is called The Gunslinger, and that kinda takes place is a post-apocalyptic world?
That’s something I’d like to see.
