The Charles Portis novel is very different than the John Wayne film. The main character is the little girl NOT Rooster, so I hope they cast a very strong actress in the role. Nonetheless, I'm excited to see the Coens tackle one of my favorite books with an awesome actor. ProjectGenesis abides. I wouldn’t call this a remake.
