I go to the cineplex in Sarnia, ON and it is already $4.20 on a Tuesday night. Half price tickets (where tickets are usually $9.95 on a regular night) actually means the price is going up…

Clever, clever. It is good news for people buying at the concession stand though.

I think this will be a huge draw for people that go to the movies more of as a treat or special occasion, and bring it to being more of a regular out and about adventure.

I’m astonished by how almost all the non-film buff people I know won’t consider going to a movie unless they are getting popcorn and a drink. I go way to often for that to be a requirement!

In China, it has been six or seven years, all the theater on Tuesday is half priced, anyway, the ticket price in China is also unbelivable high

And nice choice of photo. For those that might be curious, that’s the Empire Granville Cinemas on Granville Street in Vancouver. It used to be a Cineplex but hasn’t been for 3 or 4 years.

It’s kind of sad that my first thought was that I could go alone to the theaters on Tuesdays for those films no one wants to see with me… Or to see a movie again that I really enjoyed.

Yes, but will they start showing a better variety of film. 49 screens within 5-20 minutes away and 14 films showing. Cineplex=Fail.

Still doesn’t beat Two Toonie Tuesdays ($4) at the Rainbow. I only go to Cineplex when I have passes.

here in Chicago, we got $6 Tuesday movies at a Kerasote theater all the time WITH FREE POPCORN! full of kids, families watching R rated movies with babies, and gangbangers. Jay C. would love it!
