The A-Team Has Found Its B.A. Baracus… Again

Well well well, it looks like the ever unreliable tabloid The Sun was actually right for once! As previously reported — and since retracted — the UFC fighter Quinton “Rampage” Jackson has been cast as Sgt. Bosco “B.A.” Baracus in the forthcoming remake of the classic 80’s series The A-Team. So report several sources, who provide evidence that Jackson has both been spotted on the movie’s set and also that he has dropped his upcoming UFC match against the fighter Rashad Evans.
While surprising that The Sun got something right, I am kind of glad that they actually did. Since the first rumor of Jackson taking over Mr. T’s role appeared, I started looking into the guy’s career as a UFC fighter and I gotta say he’s pretty impressive. I think he’d make for a good replacement and I can’t wait to hear his take on T’s famous line “I pity the fool!”
The A-Team has so far cast three of the four main characters from the original series: Jackson as Sgt. Bosco “B.A.” Baracus (originally played by Mr. T), Bradley Cooper as Lt. Templeton “Faceman†Peck (played by Dirk Benedict) and Liam Neeson as Col. John “Hannibal†Smith (played by George Peppard). The last A-Teamer, the role of “Howling Mad†Murdock, has yet to be cast. The movie will be directed by Smokin’ Aces director Joe Carnahan and will have Tony and Ridley Scott as producers. Who would you like to see as Murdock?

The UFC isn’t too happy about this. They are devoting this season of The Ultimate Fighter to promoting his fight against Rashad Evens and they think this decision is going to get in the way of that fight happening…
I don’t know…if this take away from his training camp…he is going to get his ass handed to him.

It’s so [expletive] funny because fighters want to be movie stars, and movie stars want to act like they’re fighters. Get a [expletive] grip. You’re a fighter, and you’re (not) a [expletive] movie star. Alright?†– Dana White

Seriously their Mr.T looks exactly like the real one, who is still alive by the way, and should at least get a cameo
