Film Junk Poll: What is the Best Football Movie?

In honour of Robert Siegel’s Big Fan, which I hope some of you will get a chance to see this weekend, and the 2009 NFL season, which is just around the corner, I thought it would be a good time to take a look back at some of the best football movies that have been made over the years. And before any of our European friends get on my back, I’m talking strictly about American football in this case. There are plenty of great flicks to choose from, and I didn’t even include many comedies, so feel free cast a vote and then list your own personal favourites in the comments below.

I vote All the Right Moves.
Posted by WrongMovieMike on August 28th, 2009The best movie about football is Victory! starring Stallone and Pelé!
Posted by Henrik on August 28th, 2009I don’t think I have even seen or at least remember much of anything from any of these films. I just can’t get into films about sports. I love football, but I have absolutly no interest in watching a film about football. I’d rather just sit on the couch on watch my Kansas City Chiefs!

Posted by Jon Rocks on August 28th, 2009Even though Remember The Titans had some “cheesy” moments, it was pretty inspirational. I’m sure some with complain about its Christian undertones, but those can go blow dead bears.
