I first saw Superbad in theaters in 07, and hated it. Then I saw it again, loved it, and rented Adventureland last week, loved it too, and then rented Daytrippers to complete the circle, and now I see Mottola as the next thriving force behind romantic comedy/dramas. Perhaps even the next Woody Allen, or am I dreaming in that sense? He did cameo in two Woody Allen films by the way! Great indie film. I first saw Superbad in theaters in 07, and hated it. I was mainly into indie films at the time (Post Pulp Fiction) and I would have to see it again to see if it still holds up, or if it's another dated indie film. That said I agree with the overview and semi review and will try and find a cheap copy online. Thanks for bringing this little film back into the spotlight!
