Underworld 4 Coming in 3-D
More Underworld, anyone? You can’t really say that the masses have demanded it, but considering that Underworld Evolution and Underworld: Rise of the Lycans both made about the same as the first flick, they haven’t exactly refused it either. According to Shock Till You Drop, a fourth Underworld movie is currently taking shape over at Sony Screen Gems, with a planned release date of January 21, 2011. Many of the details are still up in the air, but they have decided on one important factor: it will be shot in 3-D.
It’s unclear whether this would be another prequel, or if it would, in fact, pick up where Underworld Evolution left off. It’s also unclear whether Kate Beckinsale might return to the franchise after sitting out the last one. Then again, it’s not like they can’t just put any hot chick in black leather and sell just as many tickets. I think if they keep the budget low, they can probably go on making these movies indefinitely. What do you think, are you up for another Underworld movie? Does the 3-D element make it more or less enticing?

I enjoyed all three, though I though “Underworld Evolution” was pretty lame. I hope they keep it set in the Dark Ages like Rise of the Lycans was b/c if you ask me a film about Vampires vs. Werewolves is best suited w/ Swords and not guns. As far as it being is 3D is concerned…well I couldn’t care less. I’m not a fan of it and its just a gimmick.

Posted by peaches on April 14th, 2010a realy love all 3 film’s i hpe the 3rd one isent a dissapointment if kate beckinsale and scott speed man arnt the mean leads i will b dissapointed but if lushan /maechell sheen is in i will very happy a was dissapointed when the killed him off but happy the braougt him back in the 3rd one and i thort he was a good actor in twilit i hope it will b ass good as the 1st three
