Weekly Movie Poster Round-Up: Jonah Hex, The Cabin in the Woods, Shutter Island
Some shiny new posters were unveiled this past weekend at Comic Con, and we’ve collected all the goods right here for you to gawk at. Among them, the very first one-sheet for Jonah Hex starring Josh Brolin and Megan Fox, a teaser poster for the remake/reboot of A Nightmare on Elm Street, and three clever yet visually unremarkable posters for Joss Whedon and Drew Goddard’s The Cabin in the Woods.

Posted by Matt Keith on July 28th, 2009I think the “Nightmare on Elm Street” is good because it is so simple and you know right away who it is. Not a fan of the “ninja assassins” design. The more I seen on this movie the less interest I am having on this. “The Cabin in the Woods” one is good but only as a series. I will not name who but someone in the top poster should not even be on the poster.
Again I love these new posts on poster designs please keep this up.

2) The Cabin in the woods (as a series)
3) Saw VI
4) No Impact Man
5) Shutter Island
6) Jonah Hex
7) Ninja Assassins
I think the Jonah Hex poster would indeed be better without Miss Fox.
I like the NOES poster quite a bit.
I think the Ninja Ass Ass In poster is kinda lame.
