So this James Wan is going to write and direct Castlevania well lets see how this goes and I bet there will be so news on Onimusha movie getting Asian screenwriters someone like Kazunori Ito to join Keiji Inafune to write the script and Noboru Sugimura will have his on the writing credits as the origianl story.
There could more news on Ninja Scroll soon also Gears Of War,Lost planet other comic book movies and video games movies.

Castlevania is actually a perfect candidate for film. It’s the perfect meeting of great story vs. it not being told in the clearest fashion within the games.

Wan is a much better director than he’s gotten credit for yet so I’m fine with his involvement. Anderson still being involved gives me some pause as, even though I’ve been fine with a lot of his work, his ideas on Castlevania scare me slightly.

I’ve never really had a problem w/ video game flicks and some(to me) were good, but I remember playing a demo version of one of the Castlvania games and I just don’t know if this will translate into a feature film well.

Death Sentence was an enjoyable film so this isn’t terrible news.

Still, it looks like Warcraft will probably be the first truly good VG film now that Raimi is attached.
