I remember as a kid the released a PG and R rated versions of SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER. That’s the only instance I can recall of this ever happening in the states.

This will never happen in the United States, the MPAA has explicit policies against it, they don’t want to deal with complaints from cunfused (IE: stupid) parents who manage to take their kids to the wrong screening.

Its sort of a non-issue anyway, parents are allowed to take their kids to R-rated flicks and NC-17 just doesn’t happen. .

This is like editing down the “Passion of the Christ”
It is useless and they should of left it alone. Like Poutine with out the gravy or the curds. It is just not the same.

If they’re going to do this, they better make it extremely clear to people going in.

I live in the UK and I’m 16, and obviously, desperate to see Bruno.
I do wonder what they have cut out and if it is any key scenes.

If they have only cut out a couple of minutes then I ask why they didn’t just do this to get it a 15 certificate at first.

If it is a very similar version I’ll be first in line. But also, I know that it hasn’t yet been released in theatres as a 15 so I’ll have to wait and see.
