Great film, I watched it twice in a row - it's the little details in this movie that I love - like how he crossed out Luke's name and wrote Judas or the post-it on Gerty's back. Rockwell was excellent.
Get additional info, Reed - I wonder what Scott thought?
He seems like a really cool guy, old Duncan. Source Code sounds interesting but I loved the thought of Mute.

According to an interview with Popular Mechanics, the "Mute" project that Mr. Jones mentions above is actually a riff on Blade Runner. Here's what he said:

"I love Blade Runner, it’s one of my favorite films, and I’ve always been really… depressed that there was never—not a sequel, because I don’t think it’s right to make a sequel about Blade Runner, but no one’s really tried to make a film which was set in the same kind of world or had that same kind of field. So that’s what I’m doing, a big-city mystery story that takes place in a future Berlin."

One other answer I thought worth posting here is this:

"Ridley Scott has a copy of Moon right now, actually. I’m a little nervous. I had three people I wanted to watch it: Ridley Scott, Terry Gilliam and Neil Gaiman. Neil Gaiman and Terry Gilliam have both watched it and loved it, so now I’m just waiting for Ridley Scott, which is the big one for me. That’s the really scary one."

A caveat to Gilliam and Gaiman's reaction is that Gilliam, Gaiman, and Jones are apparently friends.

I saw Moon today. I feel the same as Sean; liked it, didn't love it. I hope we get more original sci-fi movies like this in the near future though.

I hadn't thought of MASH as a bro-mance movie, but I guess it is. Mr. Jones had some interesting answers. (I just remembered that David Bowie's real name is Davey Jones.)

despite very good reviews overall, the Toronto critics have been kind of harsh.

Isn't this guy David Bowie's son?
