I was surprised that you guys slammed Ghost Town as hard as you did. It was not THAT terrible; it was passable at the very least. I’d see this based on the ending to that trailer alone.

actually stephen merchant is not the writer/director of Cemetery Junction, he is the Co-writer/Co-directer along with ricky gervais.

I am looking forward to this, even though Matthew Robinson, everything I’ve read by him seems horrible and he seems like an idiot (he did put The Wrestler as his no. 1 last year though, but for wrong reasons) so I’m kind of worried there. I am the most excited by Cemetery Junction because Merchant is writer/director and I know him to be hilarious and sharp.

Hard to judge by the trailer I agree, there could be some actual Gervais-esque humor that they don’t want to show in the trailer, because what’s in there didn’t seem special at all. The concept is interesting, but could end up like Bruce Almighty where it’s just wasted.
